Please DO NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE under any circumstances or you will erase the chipless software pre-installed for you, resulting in your printer no longer recognizing any cartridges.

About the Printer:
1) We modified this printer to be able to accept sublimation ink. The printhead is flushed and conditioned with sublimation ink. Therefore, there shouldn't be any doubt that the printer can do sublimation.
2) The printer is installed with chipless firmware. Chipless means the printer will take any Epson cartridges, disregarding the cartridge's ink level or model. The printer will show a full tank of ink in any situation. Therefore, as long as you have ink in the cartridge, the printer works. please make sure NOT TO UPDATE FIRMWARE. Doing so will wipe out the chipless programming.

About the Sublimation Cartridges:

The kit comes with four pre-filled sublimation cartridges. You can pop these cartridges into the printer and use them right away. Please make sure to remove the white/transparent stoppers from the vents before installing the cartridges.

Although the cartridges are filled, you may want to know how you will refill them in the future. To refill a cartridge, unplug the cartridge and slowly inject 6 ml of ink, then plug the cartridge. See the 4th picture, all cartridges have little plugs on the top. You can fill these cartridges again and again and never need to buy a new one.

How can you tell how much ink is in the cartridge? You can check ink levels through the transparent cartridges and refill as needed or you can refill the cartridge every 100 pages (typical one packet of sublimation paper). Please DO NOT wait until ink runs dry to refill the cartridges.

About the Paper
Print on the white side. Leave the paper to dry about 5 minutes before pressing. We suggest using high (385-400 F) and fast (25-35 seconds) for soft materials such as vinyl and polyester, and low (355-365 F) and long ( 90-120 seconds) for hard materials such as ceramic and aluminum.

About Shipping
For the sublimation printer bundles, I only ship the contiguous US and will have to cancel orders with a shipping address in Alaska and Hawaii due to the prohibitive shipping cost to these two states. I primarily ship FedEx unless expedited service is REQUESTED AND PAID by the buyer. Please make sure the shipping address provided is valid. If after multiple attempts FedEx can not deliver resulting in a returned package, the buyer will be charged a $50 shipping fee. In the case of Express services, the express shipping cost will not be refunded for returned-to-sender packages.
